PORTFOLIO REPORTER v1.7 - out now!

One of the reasons that Portfolio Reporter has continued to be popular over the years is that all of the key people working on the project are personal investors themselves.

As well as making, selling and supporting Portfolio Reporter, Peter Deegan, Trish McCabe and Peter McDonell all use the program for their own investments. They understand the day-to-day needs of customers from their own experience.

There’s no question that all your portfolios and settings will always seamless move to an updated version of Portfolio Reporter automatically.

As in the past, the update to Portfolio Reporter v1.7 picks up all past portfolio information without any special work by users. Also, the menus and commands are largely unchanged.

One of the most important parts of Portfolio Reporter has always been the phone support. Some of you would have spoken to our support wizard Peter McDonell who has operated the support service for many years.

For many years, the company name has been giving the false impression of a one man operation. MCC has a group of talented people working on Portfolio Reporter. Some of you will have spoken to Peter McDonell who does technical support, Trish McCabe handles sales and enquiries while Claude Almer provides programming magic.

These days anyone with an Internet connection can get the latest share prices from around the world in a few seconds. Our Portfolio Reporter support master, Peter McDonell tells how he follows his portfolio from the World Wide Web and updates his own asset prices.

"I use the Macquarie Inner Circle service to track the latest share prices on my Australian assets. With the latest stock prices showing in the Windows web browser I start Portfolio Reporter in another window. The two sit side-by-side as I update the prices in Portfolio Reporter - the whole thing takes only a few minutes. "
